The root chakra, or muladhara, is the first of the seven major energy centers in our body and corresponds to our foundation in life. Use this meditation to draw strength, courage and resourcefulness during major life changes and challenges. This is also a great meditation to use for low level anxiety, when you're experiencing a general underlying sense of dis-ease or dis-comfort.
