Can we just take a moment to appreciate today's blind spot alert technology? You know, that little red light on your side mirror that lights up when someone's hiding just out of view?
Back in the day, I'd practically twist myself into a pretzel trying to check every angle - and throw in a prayer for good measure - before changing lanes.
Now I can't even remember the last time I had to sheepishly throw up that apologetic "ooops, my bad!" wave after almost sideswiping someone.
Being able to see what's in your blind spot is a total game changer!
And here's the thing - blind spots don't just exist on the road.
They show up in life, too.
In the car, blind spots are places your mirrors can't see. In life, they're the hidden beliefs, patterns, fears and assumptions that lurk in the corners of your subconscious. You don't see them, but they're always there, quietly influencing your choices and actions.
They're the stories you tell yourself, often without realizing it.
"I'm not good enough for this."
"People will judge me if I try."
"I can't handle failure."
"It's not safe to take risks."
They're the "invisible forces" that keep you spinning in the same patterns or wondering why your manifestation attempts feel stuck.
These blind spots are continually shaping how you show up in the world. They're the quiet saboteurs of your goals, dreams and visions - holding you back from pursuing opportunities, building meaningful connections, and stepping into your full potential.
All without you even realizing it.
Blind spots are, by definition, hard to see. They're sneaky, hiding behind habits and patterns that feel "normal."
And - as we know - we can't address what we can't see.
That's why brining them to light is so crucial - the first step in breaking free and empowering yourself to create your life on your terms.
So how do you find what's hiding in your blind spot?
You slow down, turn off autopilot and take a good, honest look at what's going on inside. And that's where meditation comes in.
Meditation creates the space for awareness. It's like switching on an internal light that lets you see what's been hiding in the corners of your subconscious.
The meditation I created for you this week is designed to help you gently uncover the hidden beliefs and patterns that are holding you back. We'll shine a light on what has been lurking in your blind spot, and give you the tools to release it.
Think of it as giving your inner guidance system an upgrade. Just like that little red light on your mirror, this meditation will help you see what's there, so you can more forward with awareness.
And remember, everyone has blind spots. It's not a flaw, just part of being human. The more you practice awareness, the less control they have over you. Instead of reacting to life on autopilot, you can navigate with clarity, confidence and purpose.
