The Sixth Law of Karma |The Divine Thread–The Law of Connection

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on the winding path that brought me to this very moment. And when I look back, what once felt random or disjointed now feels deeply, beautifully orchestrated.

I’ve always followed my heart. But there was a time when I couldn’t make sense of my journey—starting in country club management, shifting into event planning, diving into acting and voiceover work, teaching yoga, and ultimately becoming a spiritual life coach.

At first glance, none of it seemed connected. I felt like a metaphysical tumbleweed—drifting from one chapter to the next, trying to find “my thing.”

And yet, when I zoom out, I can see that none of it was random. Every chapter—event planning, yoga, performance, deep inner work—has shaped how I hold space for others today.

Even the not-so-fun parts—the confusing moments from childhood, the physical health challenges, and the painful lessons I definitely didn’t think I was signing up for—have all helped shape the woman, teacher, and coach I’ve become.

Nothing was wasted.

Everything belonged.

This is the essence of the Sixth Law of Karma: The Law of Connection.

It teaches us that everything is connected. Every choice, relationship, job, insight, detour, and healing moment is part of the bigger picture of your soul’s journey.

Every chapter is connected.

Every moment is preparing us for what comes next.

Even when it doesn’t feel like it.

Some of those moments? They were gut-wrenching.

The betrayals. The heartbreak that ended in divorce.

The health challenges that forced me to slow down, look inward, and reevaluate everything.

Those weren’t detours.

They were initiations.

They cracked me open, asked me to grow, and gave me the wisdom I now use to support others through their own transformations.

The law of connection reminds us:

Nothing stands alone.

Every past version of ourselves contributes to who we are now.

Every challenge, lesson, and victory helps pave the path in front of us.

And while karma is always at play, we are not powerless passengers—we have free will in how we respond, what we choose, and how we move forward.

We create from the sum of our experiences.

There is a divine thread running through it all—though sometimes, when we’re in the middle of it, it’s hard to recognize.

But when we zoom out, we can often see how each experience prepared us for what came next.

You are not a collection of random events.

You’ve never been off course.

Even when it felt like you were lost, you were still being led.
